OSX SMART Board Tip #2 - Primary Monitor

Using your SMART Board as the primary monitor:

Have the extra space on your computer is nice, but one bad thing about using un-mirroring your screen is that all of the controls such as the dock and the menu bar are still on the computer screen. Here is an easy way to tell the computer that you want your dock and menu bar on the SMART Board and while still using your computer screen separately.

1. While in the Arrangement Tab of the Display settings, you will see something like this:

2. Notice the while bar on the top of the blue box that represents your computer screen.

3. Click and drag the white box over to the smaller blue box that represents the SMART Board.

4. Your dock and menu bar are now located on your SMART Board.
