This is one of my favorite TED Talks where Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.
I love this talk because he uses such simple (and humorous) stories to illustrate his point. Schools need to stop thinking about how they they need to teach, but instead focus on how (and what) the student learns best.
